EarlyStack AI Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 2, 2026
This policy explains how EarlyStack AI and the EarlyStack AI Autofill browser extension handle information.
When you enable background Auto Apply, an EarlyStack browser worker can open supported job applications, fill them with your approved profile details and resume, and submit according to your selected approval mode. This operates without the extension or an open dashboard. Necessary application information is sent to the employer's application system. The worker uses a separate browser session for each application; it does not access your personal browser cookies. Drafts, approval decisions, and submission outcomes are stored in your account. You can pause automation in Auto Apply settings; pausing cannot undo an application already sent.
Information you provide
EarlyStack processes account credentials, profile and resume information, approved application answers, job-search activity, saved jobs, and application-tracking information that you choose to provide.
Extension data
The extension accesses a job-application page when you activate it or authorize an approved application workflow. It reads visible form labels, controls, job description text, company name, and page URL to prepare autofill suggestions. It sends the information needed to retrieve your profile, generate requested answer drafts, prepare an approved application, and record application status to the EarlyStack service over HTTPS.
In manual autofill mode, the extension fills only fields selected by the user and does not submit the application. When a user explicitly enables and authorizes the optional auto-apply workflow, the extension may activate the application's submission control after the configured eligibility, approval, and safety checks pass. The workflow stops when it encounters CAPTCHA, multi-factor authentication, unsupported questions, changed forms, or missing required information.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide account, job discovery, application tracking, recommendation, answer-drafting, and user-requested autofill features; maintain security; diagnose errors; and improve those user-facing features.
Sharing and advertising
EarlyStack does not sell personal information or use extension data for personalized advertising. Information is shared with service providers only when necessary to operate the requested features, maintain infrastructure, or comply with law.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure
EarlyStack AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs and browser extension permissions adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through the extension is used only to provide or improve its single, user-facing application-assistance purpose. It is not transferred for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated purposes, and is not made available for humans to read except with the user's affirmative consent for support, for security, to comply with law, or in aggregated and anonymized form for internal operations.
Security and retention
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Sensitive profile, approved-answer, and application snapshot fields are encrypted at rest. Sent email-outbox payloads and detailed submission diagnostics are removed after the configured retention period, which defaults to 30 days. Application status and security audit metadata may be retained longer to prevent duplicate submissions, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service.
Your choices
You can edit profile information, disconnect the extension, avoid selecting a proposed field, export Auto Apply data, or delete Auto Apply data from your authenticated account. To request access to or deletion of other account data, contact us.
